Brandwork Planning

Our story

Brandwork was born out of the frustrations of two specialists at opposite ends of the creative process.

Hayley was working as a senior marketing consultant for a Blue Chip Corporation but had worked agency side too, specialising in branding. She was frustrated by the ‘same old’ agency relationship and wanted to create a more cohesive and transparent two-way working where great creative met business strategy.

Simon, a creative digital designer working in a successful agency, wished for a stronger emphasis on persuasive design and strategy to create powerful creative. He wanted to start an agency that was void of marketing 'fluff' and navel-gazing for the sake of it, but instead concentrated on creating purposeful solutions based on the psychology of the customer.

So guess what?…they joined forces and Brandwork was created with the sole aim of delivering marketing and digital solutions intrinsically linked to business objectives and customer behaviour - branding without the bull... it’s a refreshing change.

Meet the directors

Simon Baghomian

Specialising in digital design, with over 20 years of experience and expertise in branding, strategic design and communications. Simon has worked with a diverse range of clients from small SMEs to the likes of Coca Cola, Sony, Aston Martin, Ribena, HSBC, The NHS and Warburtons.

Simon has headed up Brandwork for the last 12 years, his passion for creating the perfect solution for clients has meant the agency has gone from strength to strength, and he is proud to lead a team of creatives that share his understanding of intelligent and persuasive design.

Hayley Simpson

Recognised for her honest and strategic approach, Hayley has over 20 years experience working with companies to create and implement marketing campaigns, communication plans and PR activity.

Working across various sectors including FMCG, retail, recruitment and energy/utilities, she believes that all creative solutions must be grounded in the objectives of the business; and with a passion for branding, she loves nothing more than helping companies tell their brand stories in a unique and honest way.
